Lifeline Australia

Lifeline is a national charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24 hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. We are committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope.

Who we are

We are here to listen, without judgement and to advocate for equal opportunities for mental wellbeing. We are here for you.

Why we exist

Lifeline exists to ensure that no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone. Our experience has shown us that it is through connection that we can find hope. We are available 24 hours a day to listen, without judgement to any person in Australia who is feeling overwhelmed, experiencing crisis or longs to be heard.

What sets us apart

We are here to listen, without passing judgement.

We believe every life is equally important.

We are committed to keeping you safe.

We are a national service with a local footprint, we are present within the communities that need us most.
